Coempowered is a non-profit organisation dedicated to advancing education for disadvantaged communities, particularly youth and young women.We promote community-based education, critical and creative thinking, mental health support, and empowerment through accessible courses and workshops.
Our Story
Empowering young women through education
In 2021, we began as a small volunteer group with a vision to empower young girls in Afghanistan facing immense barriers to learning by providing quality education and facilitating community-based education. As our positive impact spread, we expanded our reach to socially and/or economically disadvantaged individuals in Iran and among Persian-speaking immigrants and refugees, where the need for empowerment and educational support was equally critical.
